Dave McGregor

President and Chief Operating Officer, Emera Caribbean Inc. and President, Grand Bahama Power

Dave McGregor was appointed President, Grand Bahama Power in 2018 and President and Chief Operating Officer, Emera Caribbean Inc. in 2020.

Since joining Emera in 2010, Dave has held increasingly senior roles across the business including at Nova Scotia Power and in the Caribbean region. After a series of significant hurricanes impacted Emera's Caribbean operations, Dave's leadership was instrumental in the recovery effort. He also led Barbados Light & Power's early progression toward its current position as a leader in renewable energy and transportation electrification.

Before joining Emera, Dave spent 16 years with ATCO Power where he held senior leadership positions in gas-fired power generation facilities in Canada and the UK. Previously, Dave was a field engineer with Rolls Royce and spent time in Africa and Europe, installing, commissioning and troubleshooting electrical equipment for the power generation and mining industries.
