Jared Green joined Emera in December 2025. He brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in the regulated utilities sector and is recognized as a people-first leader with a strong commitment to safety, operational integrity and sound governance. 

A seasoned finance and business executive, Jared has led organizations through high-growth phases, strengthening performance and creating long-term value in complex, regulated markets.  

Most recently, he served as President and CEO of TriSummit Utilities, guiding the company from its 2018 inception through significant organic growth and strategic acquisitions, expanding its operations to nearly 300,000 customers across Canada and Alaska. 

Prior to his tenure at TriSummit, Jared held several senior executive roles at AltaGas, including President of Canadian Utilities, President of ENSTAR Natural Gas in Alaska and Vice President & Corporate Controller.  

Jared holds an ICD.D designation, is a Chartered Accountant, and earned degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Calgary.
